Behind the Scenes

A Day in Our Đà Nẵng Workshop

By Nguyễn Thái Thiệu · April 15, 2026

Morning: cutting

The day starts early, before the heat. We lay out hides and sacks, mark the panels, and cut by hand. This is the quietest, most careful hour of the day.

Midday: stitching

Most of our pieces are saddle-stitched by hand — two needles, one seam, no machine. It is slower, but it is the stitch that outlasts the bag.

Afternoon: finishing

Edges are burnished, hardware set, and every piece is checked against the light. Only then does it earn the AnnamMade stamp.
